Asch is a strong believer in a world without war, and making the world a better place for everyone. However, he also knows that sometimes the only way to make the world safer, and a better for people is through war.
History:
Asch was the original Luke fon Fabre, son of Duke Fabre, and the original "Light of the Sacred Flame". For 10 years he lived at highest point of Baticul as part of the royal family. However, 8 years ago Commandant Vandesdelca "Van" Grants, his swordfighting instructor, kidnapped him. Van brought him to a castle owned by the Fabre family, and there he used a machine that was a product of Fomicry, which is more or less a fancy word for cloning. The kidnapping was blamed on Kimlasca's rival country, Malkuth.
Some time later the replica Luke that Van had made was the one brought back to the Fabre Manor, while the original Luke joined the Oracle Knights and became a part of Van's elite forces, the Six God-Generals. It was then that he chose a new name for himself: Asch, symbolizing the charred remains of the Sacred Flame.
Seven years after all that happened Asch and Luke finally met, but only for a brief moment. Luke was stunned to see someone with his exact face, whereas Asch was enraged. Upon their next meeting Asch attacked Luke with the intent to kill him. However, the Commandant stepped in, and ordered Asch to fall-back.
At a later date it was revealed that Van planned to use Luke to destroy the land of Akzeriuth. Van was successful in tricking Luke into doing so, and after multiple encounters with the 6 God-Generals Van's true plan was made known. Commandant Grants intended to replace the entire world with replicas so that it could be free from The Score, which was thought to tell the future. However, The Score was only one of many possible paths the future could take. Van refused to believe that.
Admiring Van greatly, Asch only rebelled against him after he revealed his plan for a replica world, something Asch could not go along with, as he had grown to despise replicas--especially Luke. Though Luke was blameless, Asch hated him for taking his true life from him; his family, his status, and the attention of Van, their beloved teacher. After quite some time Luke defeated Asch in a one-on-one battle in Eldrant, a floating island that was a replica of the destroyed land of Hod, to determine who was the "real" Luke and who should go on to defeat Van. Asch stayed behind to fend off the Knights under Van's command so that Luke and his allies could continue onward to defeat the Commandant.
Later, while trying to contact Luke via a mental link, Asch was stabbed and killed by replicated Oracle Knights, telling Luke that the rest was up to him before he died. His death enabled Luke to use a second-order hyperresonance to save the party from a trap.
After Van's defeat, Luke used the complete Key of Lorelei as Eldrant began collapsing. Asch fell through the collapsing ceiling, and was caught by Luke. It was then that Luke was met by the spirit of Lorelei, and in a brilliant flash Luke and a revived Asch were safely transported outside of the destroyed Eldrant.
Months later, now 18-years-old, Asch had been on a long journey to search for someplace he belonged. It was while trekking through the desert outside of Chesadonia that an odd light engulfed him, and before he knew it he was in the middle of a strange blue metallic room.
Powers & Abilities
Known Powers: Asch can use a limited amount of Fonic & Arcane Artes, as well as Mystic Artes. Such Artes include: Stalagmite--a very large jagged rock shoots up from the ground below his target. Splash--multiple high-pressure streams of water blast down at the target from different angles. His Mystic Arte, Rending Saber, is his most powerful attack. A tremendous amount of energy surges upward, surrounding him as he lifts his sword skyward. When the opponent is caught in this attack he/she becomes trapped until the attack is finished. After a moment Asch aims the tip of his blade at the ground, and stabs it into the ground, causing another burst of energy stronger than the last.
Several of his Arcane Artes involve the use of elements combined with a sword technique. EX: Lightning Tiger Blade--Asch does 2 vertical slashes, and on the second one leaps above his target, and a bolt of lightning shoots down at the target from his blade. Once the bolt has done its damage he flips in air, and comes down on his opponent with a strong downward slash charged with lightning.
Known Abilities: Expert swordsman.
Strength Level: Very strong
Weaknesses: Human--can be cut, stabbed, shot, etc.
Equipments and Vehicles
Equipment: Leg armor, gauntlets, body armor.
Weapons: Oracle Knight's sword
Transportation: (void)
Introduction RP[/u]
About a mile outside the merchant city of Chesadonia walked a medium-sized young man wearing a few pieces of armor, and a notably long dark gray and red tunic-like article of clothing. His long red hair that reached down to the center of his back blew backward in the desert breeze as he made his way toward the town.
"Huh?" He let out as his eyes fell upon a group of men all dressed in black, and holding large daggers. The men quickly surrounded him, but he didn't seem nervous at all.
"Hand over everything you've got, and we won't have to kill you." One of the men said to Asch in a low gravelly voice.
"Is that a fact?" Asch said angrily, clearly not intimidated by he man's words. He took a look around, counting the men as he glanced at them. ~Only four of them. This will hardly be worth my time.~ He thought to himself.
The young swordsman speedily drew his blade, and charged at the bandit in front of him. He let out a battle cry, and shoved his sword right through his foe's chest.
The other men came at him with their weapons ready, but they were each quickly defeated by a swift array of powerful slashed.
"Pathetic." Asch thought aloud, and then continued toward Chesadonia. He only took a few steps before he was covered by a pale blue light, and then in only seconds he was in the middle of a massive blue metal room. To his right he saw a young man, about his size, covered in a strange blue armor. Next to the blue boy was a black man with pieces of armor apparently built into his body. Asch didn't know what to make of those two, and was almost a little scared by the looks of them, but not because he thought they would attack but because they gave him this bad feeling that he was no longer on Auldrant.
The warrior then turned to his left, and saw a large gold & red metallic being standing there next to him. His eyes widened in shock at the sight of the human-shape being. He had seen some pretty amazing things in his life, but he had never seen a robot such as that...that is, if that thing really was a robot.
"Very good. You're all here." A tall figure said as it entered the room. It had a male-sounding voice, but it was hard to tell if this scrawny, blue-skinned creature was male or female. It must have been around 7-feet tall, and wore perfectly white robes over its skinny body. "I know you must all be wondering what is going on. How you came to be here, and why." It said. "My name is Nek-tos, and you are now on my home-world, Zathourose. You have been brought here because you are some of the finest warriors of your world, and you are needed to help save us, the Zathour, from the tyrannical Bal-lik soldiers. We will not force you to aid us, but we do beg your help. Please... We have always been a peaceful race, and you are the only ones who can save us."
Asch didn't like being kidnapped to go fight a war, but after hearing what Nek-tos had to say he conscientiously felt that he had to help them. "Fine. So long as you send me back to Auldrant when this is over." He replied.
