Zut wrapped her arms around herself as she stared off at the oceans and waves. The murky dawn peeked over the horizon, giving the world a dull, grey shine of life. She had been out here for most of the night, restless and anxious for reasons she didnt understand. Something was coming and she knew it, but how she did she didnt know. She closed her eyes and tilted her head to breath in a deep breath of the salty air. This was home to her. All her life she had been made for water, but she rarely saw it nowadays. She was part of a warrior group that had been sent here for defence and for weeks she had been moping around dry land without so much as a rain drop. They had camped near the ocean only so they could follow the beach until their next check point, then it was back to land and away from home for her. She opened her deep blue eyes and looked at the waves once more, the white and grey splashes seemed to reflect in her eyes for a moment before she turned her head slightly... someone else was on the beach with her.

Asch walked down to the beach, appearing upset, as usual. He took a quick look around to make sure there weren't any enemies around, it was then that he spotted Zut. ~What is she doing?~ He thought to himself. The ex-Oracle Knight walked further down the beach until he was next to the young female warrior. "You seem pretty relaxed." He said with a hint of anger in his tone.

"That I am if I'm allowed to be." she said, not even turning her head to see who it was. She kept her ears open to any new sounds and an eye out for any quick movement. "May I help you?" she asked.

"Just keep an eye out, would you?" Asch asked, though his tone made it sound a bit more like an order. "I've heard that some of Zekter's soldiers have been traveling near the Killiko Sea. They're probably looking for enemy ships, considering how close Sepphea is to Lori-lye." He said as he stared out at the water.

She gave a single nod and then remained silent. "And what brings you out here?" she asked as she turned to him. "I dont think many people walk around the beaches after dark... to many dangers of high tide taking them out I'm sure."
(which side am I on? lol I forgot)

(OOC: Well, you're a good-guy, if that's what you meant. But if you meant location you're in the Kalliko Sea, which is on the west side of Sepphea, which is south east of Lori-lye.)
"I've sailed the seas many times, the water doesn't scare me." Asch replied without turning to Zut. "Anyways, I'm just out here to make sure we don't get attacked in the night. I volunteered to take first watch. In a few hours another guy will be coming around to take over." He stated plainly. "What about you? Why are you out here? Shouldn't you be getting some sleep before we march out tomorrow?" He asked as he turned his head to the young woman.

(I meant what soldiers am I looking out for I'm not used to this stuff...)
"I've rested enough for our trip." she said as she turned back to the sea, her eyes watching each wave with a longing expression. A small draft caught her hair, making it fly behind her shoulders and outward in a whip like motion. "But perhaps I'll return to my tent for a few hours." She said as she turned her back to the wind and headed for the huddle of cloth tents and dieing camp fires. "I'll see you in the morning." She added over the howl of the breeze.
(time skip to morning?)

(OOC: Bal-lik are the antagonists of this story Yeah, I'll skip us) Asch said nothing, he just watched as the woman passed him, and then turned his eyes back out to sea. ~I just hope we don't have a run-in with any of the Generals yet. I don't think we're all ready for that right now.~ He thought to himself. The next morning came quick, and the young redheaded warrior soon awoke from his light slumber. The fires in the camp were all being put out, and weapons and other miscellaneous items were also being gathered by the others. However, Asch was always one to travel light, so all he had to grab was his sword, and he was ready to go. Suddenly, something caught his ear. It was the voice of one of his allies screaming as he neared the camp. But, what was he saying? Asch couldn't quite make it out, but when the man came into view he was able to make out a single word: "Enemies." Before the man could finish his sentence a strange metallic spear was stabbed through his torso. "We're under attack!!" Asch the Bloody shouted to the others. "Brace yourselves!!" The Bal-lik charged in with their weapons at the ready. They were truly something to behold, these creatures and their weapons. Their bodies were a combination of some of the most advanced technology and mythical creatures that some believe only to exist in fairy tales. This particular unit appeared to belong to Talbain Zekter III, as each and every one of them were techno-organic werewolves that towered high above every member of Asch's group. Most of their body was made of a silvery metal that almost seemed alive in the way that it could move and flex just like human skin. Then there were the weapons. The spears the beasts held appeared to be made of the very same substance as their metallic body parts, but they couldn't move like the metal on their body, and the handles of most of them were a radiant green rather than silver. The spearheads were much larger than the average spearhead, and they all coursed with a red energy. Yes, the Bal-lik were certain a sight. "Let's see what you've got!" Asch exclaimed as he drew his double-edged sword, and prepared for combat.

A loud whistle buzzed by Asch's ear just by his head. Zut stood, posed with an empty bow. The arrow she fired clinked off of the metal of one of the beasts that were standing just behind Asch. She pulled another one from a bag at her side and loaded the bow once more. She quickly spun around and fired, but missed the beast that charged at her.

Asch quickly turned around, and did a very fast 2-hit combo with his sword. He first slashed downward, and then slashed upward with much force while yelling: "Fang Blade!" The werewolf let out a growl of pain, but not much more. Once Asch had landed on the ground the large creature struck him with his notably big fist, sending the young warrior sliding back several feet. At that moment he saw that one of his allies, Zut, was in trouble. He back-flipped in front of the woman, and swiftly turned about. He aimed his left palm at the creature, and an orange light shined from his hand in the shape of a very large ball. "Get outta here!" He shouted, and then the sphere exploded at the werewolf, sending it back about ten feet and causing Asch's arm to jolt backward.
"You got anything other than those arrows?" He asked Zut quickly as he turned and dashed to his right, slashing at the lower legs of one of the beasts, thus forcing it to back off for a short moment.

"I have a little something up my sleeve." She said as she arched her arms outward, the bow dangling in her right hand. She stared at the beasts around her, the waves started to move wildly. She was a bit annoyed Asch told her to run, she had been doing that all her life and she sure wasnt doing that now. "I hope you can swim." She said, mainly talking to Asch. She tossed her arms, stiffly into the air... and all at once the waves crashed to shore. It looked like something out of a hurricane documentary or something. The waves were taller then most buildings in this land and covered along the beach. The water crashed down , whipping the beasts out and leaving the warriors standing.. for the most part. Everyone was soaked and weighed down by water.
(I know thats a little of a godmod I'll change it if you want me to)

Asch stared at the waves with widened eyes, and then quickly stabbed his blade into the ground. As the waves washed over them the ex-God-General held onto the hilt of his sword with everything he had. Luckily, the water went by swiftly. Asch groaned a bit as he yanked his sword out of the ground, and then sheathed it. The young warrior walked up behind the blue-haired woman, and turned her around to face him. "Are you crazy?!" He shouted with rage. "You could have killed all of us with that attack." He added angrily.

"Are you dead!?" She hissed as she faceed him. "Apparently not since you are snapping at me for saving you." She added in a dry voice. "We didnt loose any of our men, but we will if you dont have them move out now... some dogs can swim." She said as she looked at the water, several of the beats were dog-paddling back to shore. She pulled away from him and headed toward her tent to dry off, or she really would be useless. "Tell them to pack up and hurry."
(hey, dont forget deadpool)

"Hey! I wasn't done talking to you!" Asch the Bloody shouted. He didn't bother to go after the woman, but instead he sheathed his blade, and rung his hair out a bit. ~Stupid girl.~ He thought to himself. "Alright! Everyone get ready! We move out, now!!" He yelled loudly to the others.
As the other quickly started north, their things gathered, the Bal-lik soldiers started to come back to shore. It seemed that they were harder to kill than one might of thought.
"Dang it." Asch muttered as he looked over at some of the oncoming enemies. "O maddening gale of the spirits of the earth..." He said as a slightly pale brown light shined all around him. "Stalagmite!" He exclaimed, and then a very large jagged rock burst up from underneath a few of the werewolves. ~Maybe that will slow them down.~ He thought as he started running north along with the rest of the warriors.

One of the men stayed behind to attend to Zut. She had changed and dried off as well as possible, but the water felt like it was burning her skin. She knew it was the salt in the ocean, but it still made her unnerved. She gave a graceful nod to the man who had stayed behind, making him leave her. She gathered what she needed andnone of what she didnt and left with them. She was at the back of the group, mainl to keep away from Asch, but she kept up well. She had changed, she knew this was going to make Asch go on a rant, or maybe two, about how she took time to do thing, but she wasnt worried about that. Behind them the wall was chipping away, and the Bal-lik were coming through it. She turned her head forward again, searching out everyone to make sure they were there.
