Asch looked to the rear of the group, seeing that Zut was well behind him. ~First she uses an attack that could have washed away her allies, and now she's falling behind.~ He thought angrily. Needless to say the young warrior was upset, but that was nothing new, he was always upset. As he scowled back at Zut he saw that one of the werewolves had worked its way all the way to their group, and was above Zut, diving down at her. "O' violent torrent... Splash!" He exclaimed, and then multiple high-pressure streams of water poured down on the Bal-lik soldier, pinning it to the ground for the moment. "Make haste!! They're catching up!" Asch the Bloody shouted, and he and his group started running north as quick as they could. It wasn't his practice to run away from his foes, but they were outnumbered 3 to 1, and he knew that the Bal-lik kind were far too strong for him and his allies to take on with their current numbers. ~Dang it! Where are Trigger and the others when you need them?!~ He mentally said to himself.

Zut turned when Asch screamed at them to hurry. She darted past the fleeing men and ran to where Asch was fighting the attackers. "There are 2 men still behind us. I'm going back to get them you get the rest out of here." She nipped. She knew she was no where near being in command and would be punished for her arrogance later, but at the moment she needed to get these men out of harms way. This group, believe it or not, had become her family in the past few weeks she had been moving around with them. She pushed past a few men who were heading toward the front of the group and darted around in search of the 2 men who were slightly hurt from the last battle.

Asch knew it was pointless to try and argue with that woman, she would do what she wanted, something he wasn't exactly fond of. ~Dang it! If that dumb girl heads back she's going to be torn apart, and so will the two she went to find!~ He thought with much frustration. "Guess there's only one thing I can do." He thought aloud. The young warrior rushed the opposite way, and started running along side Zut until they started nearing the Bal-lik.
Three of the techno-organic beasts stood not far in front of them with weapons ready in an attempt to block their path. "Look as fast as you can!" Asch shouted to Zut, and then charged at the monsters with his sword in hand. He quickly dashed pass the center werewolf while slashing horizontally, and then swiftly turned around and performed a leaping vertical slash upon his foe's back while yelling: "Swallow's Fury!" While he and the monster were in mid-air he unleashed a quick, and powerful spin-kick combo which sent the Bal-lik soldier to the ground. Once Asch landed he was struck in the ribs by one of the creatures, but he quickly reacted by slashing at the Bal-lik's unprotected lower leg. He then turned about as fast as he could, and blocked a high slash from his opponent's spear. After he shoved the spear away he speedily brought his arms down by his sides with one hand in a fist and the other gripping his hilt, and at that moment prismatic energy burst from his body. "Overlimit!!" He exclaimed, and the energy that erupted from him sent his foes flying back.

Zut wanted to yell at him, for some odd reason she thought he would stay out of harms way as much as he could. It took her only seconds to find the men, but to her anger and pain one was already gone. She attempted to lift the other to his feet, he gave a weak attempt, but it was enough... for now. She drag him along, now wishing she had made one of the other men come with her. She had almost gotten to where Asch was standing when one of the beasts lundged at her. She acted quick and without thought. Within seconds a ball of ice fromed from mid air, leavng the air with a dry and empty feeling, then shot into the beast's cheat, causing it to fall back onto the hard ground. "I've got him!" she shouted to Asch.

(OOC: The metal that the Bal-lik use to forge their weapons, as well as the metal on their body is stronger than titanium. You may need to edit the piece about the ice going through the Bal-lik's chest. That is, unless the the attack is just that strong)
Asch quickly turned around, the prismatic energy darting around his body. He looked to Zut, and saw that she was having difficulties holding the man up. "Give him to me." He said swiftly, and then took the man, and put him over his shoulder. "Now let's go before those beasts decide we're lunch!" He said, and then quickly started to run north, soon catching up with the others.

(k)
Zut chased after him, hoping they'd loose the Bal-lik. She wasnt looking forward to anymore fights at the moment, to many men were hurt. She willingly gave up the hurt man to Asch and followed along, keeping an eye on the beasts to see if they were following.

One of the Bal-lik stood in front of the unit, and motioned for the others to halt. "Let them go. We have done what we came to do." With that said, the werewolves started heading back the way they had come.
Asch glanced back at his foes, and was astonished and perplexed to see that they were not pursuing them. "What the devil...?" He thought aloud, but he didn't dare stop running.

(sure... much later if you dont mind)
After the men had gotten enough ground they decided to stop and attend to those who needed it. Most of the men were only bumped and bruised, but the one Zut had gone back for wasnt so lucky. A broken coller bone and arm, a deep wound on his leg, that had to be stitched without any pain killers, and several large bruises. While the men around them went about their buisness, getting everything prepaired, Zut had taken care of the man, something she seemed to do often. At the moment she was sitting on the ground next to him, putting blankets on him when needed and dampening a cloth to keep his lips moist and giving him water when he needed it... though she was careful to keep the water away from her for the post part.

Asch the Bloody approached Zut, his arm resting on the hilt of his sword. "I need to talk with you." He stated. "Privately." He added, his tone stern, as always.

Zut looked up at him. She knew she could argue and stay there with the fallen man, but didnt. She nodded to one of the other men, who had a bit of medical history, and he took over her spot. She rose to her feet in a swift and eligante move. She followed Asch, to where ever he was taking her, in silence. Once they settled and rose her head a bit and waited for the scolding.

Asch lead Zut plenty far away from the others, right near the water. He didn't look at her for a moment, but instead he just looked out into the sea. "I'm sure you noticed that the Bal-lik didn't follow us, and though I don't fully trust your judgment when it comes to battle tactics I think you're a fairly wise person." He said in his usual tone, and then turned around to look at her. "So, why do you think those creatures didn't chase us down?" He asked bluntly.

Zut nearly fell over in shock. She would have made a comment such as I didnt have a clue you could be civil but instead kept it to herself. "I dont know what they didnt follow us. They could have lost to many men... but I think they have something in store for us." She quickly moved back when a wave crashed near her. She kept her distance from the water and looked at him. "Why ask me this?" she questioned. "I'm sure your commanders would be a better choice."

"Cyborg, Iron Man, and MegaMan are off doing their own things. It certainly would be nice if we had a way to communicate with them, but we don't." Asch replied. "So, I asked you." He added, and then turned to look out at the waters. "I think you're right. They must have something else in store for us..." He paused shortly, and glanced over at Zut as he spoke once more. "The question is: what?"

Zut nodded. She wrapped her arms around her and looked out over the water again, her thoughts crowding her mind. She gave a curious fold of her brow then looked at him again. "The last time they attacked... did they seem like they were trying to heard us?" She asked. "Like cattle....." A look of distaste and mild horror fell into her eyes. "We need to move everyone... now."

There was a moment of silence, until finally Zut spoke again. "The last time they attacked... did they seem like they were trying to heard us? Like cattle....." The words brought realization to the young warrior's mind, and with that realization came fear. ~They weren't trying to kill us. They were trying to trap us--capture us!~ Before he could even get the words out Zut was already shouting them. "Let's move!" He ordered as he swiftly made his way back toward the others. However, it was already too late. Zekter had planned well, and the group had already been defeated and bound. Without hesitation Asch the Bloody drew his sword and charged into the mass, striking at anyone in his path.
